Meet the Founder:

Albertina Nyantee

Albertina Nyantee is the Founder and CEO of Peculiar Living Solutions, a transitional living program for youth aging out of foster care and individuals experiencing homelessness. Her journey to creating this life-changing organization is deeply personal — shaped by pain, resilience, faith, and a deep calling to be a voice for the vulnerable.

Born in Yekepa, Nimba County, Liberia, Albertina grew up in poverty after her father traveled to the U.S. for school when she was just four months old. Her mother struggled to provide for her and her siblings , cleaning churches in exchange for scholarships so they could attend Catholic schools. These early experiences with sacrifice, service, and survival laid the foundation for Albertina’s future work.

Throughout her childhood, Albertina endured instability and abuse while living with extended relatives due to financial hardship. She experienced the trauma of rejection, the sting of neglect, and the silence of suffering — all before she turned 18. Yet in the midst of that pain, a fire was lit inside her — a desire to change the narrative for others like her. She promised herself: If I survive this, I will build something for others who feel forgotten.

And she did.

Albertina became a mother of two boys. Though promised marriage, it didn’t work out. Years later, she reunited with her childhood love and the two married, building a beautiful blended family. Together, they had two more boys — making her the proud mother of four sons and one precious granddaughter who lights up her world.
and began to step fully into her calling. She founded several initiatives, including the Giant of Hope Foundation and Peculiar Sisters focused on restoring dignity to the vulnerable and equipping with faith-based tools for healing

But her vision expanded again with the birth of Peculiar Pathways — a place where young adults aging out of foster care and people facing homelessness could find more than shelter; they could find hope. She created a program rooted in structure, support, and love — one that offers transitional housing, life skills training, spiritual mentorship, and personalized care to help each resident reclaim their future.

Albertina is also the founder of the Kingdom Relationship Network, a best-selling author, certified relationship coach, and passionate advocate for faith, family, and emotional healing. Through every project, she leads with compassion, fueled by her own story of overcoming.

Today, Peculiar Pathways stands as a living testimony of God’s grace and Albertina’s obedience — a safe place for healing, growing, and rising again.
